Naihanchi / Tekki bunkai video November 05, 2005 |
| Dear Subscriber, After another 2 hours of filming yesterday, we have finally completed our Naihanchi / Tekki bunkai video. Once my sensei Vince Choo finished editing it and adding detail explanations, it shall be available for download in our Fight Club Library. Existing members would be able to download an e-book of the Naihanchi / Tekki kata applications now. This Naihanchi / Tekki bunkai video contains brutal fighting techniques similar to those used by fearsome Okinawan fighter Master Choki Motobu in many street fights and challenge fights. See the following in this video: 1. Typical Shotokan intepretation of the Tekki kata (use your own common sense here). 2. Kissaki-Kai intepretation of the Naihanchi / Tekki kata. 3. Defensive parrying, clinching and counter-striking with punches, forearms (age-uke) and elbows (empi). 4. Excruciating joint-locks and neck cranks or deadly neck breaks (I'm generally against potentially fatal techniques). 5. Devastating throws and sweeps with restraining techniques. 6. Tegumi drills to improve offensive and defensive techniques. We hope that this video will inspire you to better improve your fighting skills and renew your confidence in Karate as a practical fighting art.
Yours truly,
